Private transport between your hotel, the airport and the Expo site in Surčin — booked with one driver, for the dates you actually need, long before the city fills up.
Belgrade hosts the Specialised Expo from 15 May to 15 August 2027, on a purpose-built site in Surčin next to Nikola Tesla Airport. Organisers expect well over four million visits across those three months, from more than 130 participating countries.
Which means the city will be busier than most people visiting it have ever seen it. Taxis will be harder to find, ride-hailing surge pricing will be at its worst exactly when everyone leaves the site at once, and the shuttle from the centre will be full at the times you most want it.
A pre-booked private transfer to EXPO 2027 is not about luxury. It is about knowing, weeks in advance, that a vehicle is coming at a time you chose, driven by someone whose name and number you already have.
I drive one vehicle. During the Expo I can take one group at a time, and the good slots — morning arrivals, evening departures after the closing programme — will go first. If your dates matter, send them now rather than in the spring of 2027. I would rather tell you honestly that a date is taken than quietly overbook it.
The exposition complex is in Surčin, on the south-western edge of Belgrade, immediately beside Nikola Tesla Airport. It covers roughly 25 hectares and sits well outside the old city — the part visitors picture when they think of Belgrade.
That matters for two reasons. If you fly in, the site is close enough that a transfer straight from arrivals to the Expo is realistic on your first morning. But if you are staying in the centre, in Dorćol, Vračar or on Knez Mihailova, you are not walking there and you are not strolling back at midnight. Every day at the Expo is a round trip out of the city and back.
Four patterns cover almost everyone who asks. Any of them can be adjusted — this is one driver, not a timetable.
Landing at Nikola Tesla and going straight to where you are staying, with the flight checked before I set off.
Out in the morning, collected at an agreed time in the evening. The most common booking, and the one worth reserving earliest.
Hired for the day, so you can leave the site when you have had enough rather than when a shuttle is due — useful with children or in August heat.
Two days at the Expo, then Novi Sad, Fruška Gora or the Danube gorge. Most visitors come a long way for this and see nothing else.
Four million visits across ninety-three days is roughly forty thousand people a day, concentrated into one district that did not exist as a destination before. The pressure will not be spread evenly: mornings before opening and the hour after the evening programme ends are when everyone wants a vehicle at once.
That is exactly when app-based pricing rises, when the queue at a taxi rank stops moving, and when a group of five with tired children discovers the shuttle is full. None of that is unique to Belgrade — it happens at every Expo, every Olympics and every large festival.
The alternative is dull and effective: agree the times weeks beforehand, with someone who has your number and whose number you have.
Not everyone at an Expo is a visitor. Exhibitors, pavilion staff, contractors, journalists and delegations all need to be somewhere precise at a precise time, often for several days in a row, often before the public gates open.
That kind of work suits one driver better than an app. The same vehicle, the same person, a schedule agreed for the week rather than re-negotiated each morning, and someone who will wait without being asked twice.
Note that card payment and company invoicing are not available yet — payment is cash, in person, at the end of the journey. If your organisation requires an invoice, it is better to know that now.
The more of this you include, the faster you get a real answer instead of three rounds of questions.
Arrival, departure, and which days you plan to be at the Expo site.
The address or at least the neighbourhood — it changes the journey and the price.
How many of you, and how many large suitcases. Seven passengers each with a big case is more than one vehicle takes comfortably.
A flight number, a conference slot, a pavilion shift — the things that cannot move.
From 15 May to 15 August 2027 — ninety-three days. It is a Specialised Expo, on the theme Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All. Dates and programme are set by the organisers, so check their official channels before you travel.
In Surčin, on the south-western edge of Belgrade, right next to Nikola Tesla Airport. It is a purpose-built complex of about 25 hectares, well away from the historic centre where most visitors stay.
Roughly 20 kilometres from the city centre, but the honest answer is that the time depends entirely on traffic and on how busy the site approach is that day. I would rather build in a margin than quote you a number that turns out to be wrong in Expo season.
Yes, and it is the easiest journey on this page — the site is next to the airport. Send your flight number with the booking so I can check the arrival before setting off.
For most groups, yes — but it has to be arranged in advance, because I drive one vehicle and can take one group at a time. A multi-day arrangement is quoted as a whole rather than per trip.
No. I only provide the transport. Tickets come from the official organisers, and I have no affiliation with them — buy from their channels and be careful of resellers.
Quoted individually and confirmed in writing before you commit to anything. It depends on your address, the number of days, how many passengers, and whether you want the vehicle to wait or come back for you.
As far ahead as your dates are certain. There is one vehicle, and the obvious slots — arrival mornings and evenings after the programme — will go first. Messages are answered daily between 08:00 and 18:00.
